Jazz impresario and multi-talented musician Ilhan Erşahin makes room in his busy concert schedule promoting his debut album for one of his many projects, Istanbul Sessions, to give a performance at this year’s Akbank Jazz Festival. Recently founded, Istanbul Sessions has evolved into an in-demand project, invited to give performances at venues and festivals all around the world. Reflecting İlhan Erşahin’s inner-feelings for Istanbul’s dynamic and eclectic cultural life, Istanbul Sessions is not a “planned” project, it is simply four musicians coming together to jam for the pleasure of art and leisure.
